I have quite a few more hair stories to be published - so don't despair - there are plenty more stories of inspiration and triumph to come. In the meantime, I have found Gigglz' interviews on Sisterlocked Newbies quite interesting. Click here for a read...
Christmas is approaching and even if you don't celebrate the religious aspects, December is always a nice time of the year to show your love and appreciation of friends and family... SO - I will be posting my reviews of a couple of British products I've been trialling.
- Basic makeup products by Yana Cosmetics (UK) Ltd.
- Organic Skincare products by Tamu Naturals.
- Babassu Shampoo Bars by Anita Grant.
All of these products were developed by Female Entrepreneurs, and at least two of these are Black businesswomen - just in case you wanted to support 'local' talent.
Anyway, stay tuned - be with you in a likkle more. Promise.

Good reads for the month of Nov. Never mind missing a few weeks, you are busy. I miss you on gmail chat.I like the locsoc post...never heard of them and my hair is full of lint.I also liked your CB and R posts.
Bajan- I wish you all the best on your return to work (it can be rough, I know). I will look out for the 'hair stories' and product reviews to come, but I can wait! :)
We all know living our lives is the main priority, and this (blogging) is just some of the fluff life is filled with.
Enjoy your family, and until next time...Coco Pebb
Bajan - you were on maternity leave for a year!! Wow, thats so great for you and your lil munchkin! Now that you're back how are you holding up? When I went back I worked for a month, quit moved to Atl and didn't work for another two months! I couldn't begin to even tell you what i was going thru, mental breakdown I think. Hope its not the case for you.
On to a more positive note, thanks for the "promo". :-)
You asked me what primer I used in another post and its called "smashbox" and I purchase it a Sephora, I dont' know if they have that over in the UK. I love the primer and thats the only thing I use as daily makeup, no foundation, or powder.
Thanks ladies. It was a great year I can tell ya! While I'm glad to be using my brain in other ways once more - I do miss be master and commander of my own time!
Got a day off tomorrow - so will definitely catch up.
